Extend social referrals to 90 days

We definitely appreciate the time that our community spends telling everyone about all the great things we do here! Quirky's all about giving back as much as possible, while still maintaining a functional business model. If there's a financially responsible way to extend the time that we share profits from a social referral, we'll make it happen in the future.

Shirley - Thank you for the response. It was mentioned at a recent Quirky meeting (by....his name escapes me) that social sales were down. I know of specific people who choose not to market the products because of this very short time frame. It takes people a while to warm up to Quirky and the concept if you buy now (in pesales), you'll get it much later.... I continue to do it because it's basically cake work and I like earning the extra money. However, I know I would be more motivated to continue to do my twitter or fb contests if I knew I would be rewarded more for those efforts. As of now - I've put those contests on hold along with doing direct purchases (for other reasons than the 30 day limit). Thanks again for considering this request.

Perhaps this is something that can be discussed at the Summit this weekend? I ask because I regularly need to delete folks I'm following on twitter (who are not following me back) and find new people to follow in the mere hopes they'll follow me. This takes work. With all the changes happening at Quirky with respect the very existing retail opportunities, I ask again that 30 days be changed to 90 days or longer. Thanks!

30-45-60-90 days are the most common terms on other affiliate sites, so I support this, but, of course, it's only up to Quirky's will.

Personally, I would be willing to do some trade off:

"social sales commission for all products the person may order for 30 days"
for
"social sales commission for the specific product related to the social sales link that brought the person to Quirky for 90 days."
