Hey Chukwuebuka. Don't worry - Quirky is not a sham. But we do get hundreds of idea submissions per week. We can't realistically give feedback to all of them, so it is possible for some ideas to expire without much attention. We ask you to take a look at the comments you received from other community members, and consider them. Also, take care to check out the comparable products that users have posted on your submission. These factors can sometimes explain why Quirky didn't choose to give your idea a closer look. Ultimately, it's up to you to whether or not you'd like to resubmit your idea.

Their are several reasons I think why people may not vote for a product
(Others may correct me if I am wrong)
#1. Their may be too many product ideas watering down submissions.
#2. No image or poor image
#3. Unclear heading statement
#4. Product is something people know is already available
#5. Product is too small of a niche for people to care about
#6. Too many similar products on the market.
#7. It's a crappy idea.
How to get people to notice...
#1. Point people to your entry on blogs, facebook, tumblr, etc.
#2. Email everyone you can and see if they will help.
#3. Come up with something a huge slice of the population wants that no one makes at all. (Not even having similar products---Like how many designs for an extension cord do we really need or care about)-
More great tips. Thanks Eric.
