Influence To-Do list
I wish the influence page had a list of the activities that I haven't yet completed. I get the emails, but I don't always remember to immediately complete it.

On the influence page (http://www.quirky.com/projects)... it would be nice under the projects currently with action items "todo", if there was a "summary" of what you have done so far.
So, on a survey, it would simply say if you've completed it or not.
On things where you need to vote or rate, it would tell you what you've done (rated 23 of 45 ideas, 2 out of 3 votes given).
I think this would really help people with having a quick glance look at what things they haven't done yet, or need to complete.

Please add a TODO list that shows all open opportunities to influence products:
- projects you have not voted in
- questionnaires with unanswered questions
- projects in which you have not cast all available votes
- projects with unrated ideas (the link takes you to the first unrated idea)
The current "Influence" page does list all projects, not just the ones you haven't (fully) participated in.

I think it'd be awesome for everyone to have an easy way of seeing what influence has been earned, and how to earn more. Keep those ideas coming!

Cool idea! We are keeping this in mind as a possibility for the future. Thanks and keep those suggestions rolling in.

CHAMP
I’m
hopeful
Can we get an indicator on each phase (similar to the Quirky 2.0 eval box) that tells if we completed that phase (or what we have left)?
Back in Quirky 2.0 on the high level eval box there was a "Rated 25/122". I would like to see something like that returned to the INFLUENCE page on all phases.
"Voted 2/3" for voting phases with a set number of votes.
"Incomplete" or "Complete" for surveys.
"Rated 25/122" and "Voted 5" for evals.
I want to see what I have or haven't done with a quick glance.

It isn't a matter of influenced earned...even though I think the descriptions of our influence earned needs better details to know what they were for specifically.
This is so when I go to the influence page to see what phases are open I can see what I have already done or almost completed. This way I don't keep second guessing myself and going into each phase to make sure I already voted, rated or answered the questions.
It would be detailed in each phase's box where I was in that phase. Make sense? ;-)-
Absolutely. I'm planning to communicate a checklist of projects plus a sub-checklist of actions within a project. Like, "60% of survey completed, 20% more before you earn influence" or "50 of 125 ideas rated in this round".
This might not be all immediately doable, but I'll get the convo rolling. -

Hey Michael, clearing through older threads, I found this suggestion from a year ago. Does it sound more like what you had in mind?

I just wanted to move Pete G.'s images from the forums to this thread, as I think they are very relevant. The progress bars could even show how much influence has been distributed for each completed round (maybe as a roll over text tip?)
The project progress bars could show where the product development is currently, how much influence was given to the community at large, approximately what phases are upcoming, & what phases were participated in and how much influence was given to the logged in user.
As a community member, I can tell you that it's really easy for this kind of information get lost. Having greater awareness of what phase is tentatively planed next would make for better prepared submissions, and thus, better rounds.

Good stuff, thanks Peter & Steven!

A checklist on your login page would be great to see what we haven't yet completed. I sent an email on this a while back - good to see that it is under consideration!

I get frustrated as a newbie with what I'll call "Influence acknowledgement".
I do some influence on a project..... Why can't the influence link change to another color. Or even better, get a checkmark next to it to indicate that I've done my share on that product, or that I've at least done some work on it?
.
I (in my old age) tend to not remember that I did something for project 1765382574. I don't even remember what project 62855946121 was....
.
It just makes sense to me for items that I've worked on, to have a different mark so I can spend my time moving onto new product ideas to help make Quirky a better place.
.
Can't this tracking or history be implemented?
.
Again, all I want is when I participate on a quirky phase --- for it to be different looking on the influence page so I can quickly jump to what jobs I need to check out.
Cheers!

Any update on if this is going to happen? It's a pain to have to keep clicking and opening pages trying to figure out which ones I participated in or have to do.

It gets very frustrating when I am not notified of an invention to vote on. I had time, one day, and I clicked on this and that and discovered if I clicked on the "Active Projects" tab on the bottom of the screen, it brings me to a page that says which project is on what stage. I found out I missed a few chances to vote and was very disapointed. But, now that I know of that tab, I check it more. Would like to have a check list like the one Uelsimon mentions. I finally made a spreed sheet on Microsoft Excel to keep track of what has/has not been voted on yet.

I wonder if this item will ever be worked on?
You guys have a ton of new members flooding in, and the site is still horrible to navigate.
In our individual account summaries there are countdown clocks for each product that has an open ideation phase. What's so difficult about placing the same clocks on the Participate page?
Please do something about this. Its up to us members to steer newbies into the information, including this forum. It should be YOU GUYS (the staff) making it easier, not the community.
Fix it please. -
-
It would be nice to also see (by a different color or something) which projects we completed so we don't have to keep clicking and closing each project.
-
-
I was thinking something like a check mark to say that you have already completed this portion.
-
-
I want to start doing this but now I want o wait until you fix it. It seems like a waste of time. I tried one day, marking prices and not even sure what I was doing. Where ate instructions or newcomers?
