Yes, this is needed. I used to rate the ideas as I looked at them and then sorted by my unrated so that the next time I came back to look at more I could pick up right where I left off. There's seems no easy way to keep our place anymore.

I'm glad to hear this HIDE feature is coming so I can hide ideas that I have already read, already voted for, and others I simply don't like.

    Benefit:

When you come back to the Participate page, you will no longer have to view the ideas you decided to Hide. This will help reduce the size of the Participate page, whereas now it just seems to go on-and-on forever with loading a single, long page of product ideas. Anything to compact it will be a major benefit.

I would prefer to have the Participate page only load the Newest 10 products with a link to display 25, 50, 100 or ALL ideas.

The HIDE or MINIMIZE button should appear next to the other shortcut icons, so you can quickly remove ideas that you do not want to see again.

IMPORTANT: Under the Filters, make sure to add a link to show "My Hidden Ideas" in case you want to go back and review them.

I am having nothing but grief with the new system in Firefox on my MacBook Pro. Here are my issues:
–runs very slowly, and the longer it runs the slower it gets
–freezes my browser about every hour
–when rebooted after a forced quit it often does not take me back to where it was, so then I have to spend time slowly going through the entire list until I get back to where I was and then it freezes my browser again within 30 min.
–if were still being held to the 75% minimum view mode, how would you know when they're is no ratings. Although it is vote and comment, and if I do neither, how do you know it was there

if it would just work properly, and I'm sure will over time, you don't have any issues at this time, however, the way it is working now it is basically unusable for me. I will stop using it until it starts to work again. Too much hassle and time wasted at present.

I'm still staying longed 100% of the time so I can get back to where was during the last session, but that doesn't work very well in the beta. I do not wish to leave my computer on 24 7. I'm going to forget about trying to catch up to the number of submissions–don't know how many–and just stick with the new submissions for now, because that's where your system keeps dumping me after every reboot.

I think this will make a huge difference in dealing with the new systems. If you can hide ideas that you've read, there's more chance to scroll through to older ideas you may have missed.

I think it would also be great to have an "Ending Soon" tab for products in their last week so you can check before you miss them.
