Product naming and tagline winners could easily be recognized.
When a new product is announced in the blog, the name of the product is introduced as well as the name of the ideator, which are both right and good things to do. However, the name of the person who won the product naming is not shown, nor is the tagline shown and the name of the tagline winner. Why is that? Isn't Quirky supposed to be a collaborative effort? Sometimes there are as many as 34 pages of name submissions with something like ten names on each page, which would come to 340 submissions. That many people took the time to think up a winning name. The same goes for the tagline, yet these folks are given no recognition. Why is that? I am curious, also, about this: for instance, how many people in all took the time to vote in the latest naming contest, and how many people in all took the time to vote in the latest tagline contest - not just those who voted for the winning name and the winning tagline, but how many people voted overall for those two separate things for the latest product Wisp. I think a little recognition, no matter how small, is better than none. Thanks!

Hi there Lavendar. Thanks for the suggestion. When we announce the products on the blog the focus is on the inventor and the product itself--a brief description, its proposed features, materials, and dimensions, along with a quick background on how the idea originated. We're trying to keep it short and sweet.
We love recognizing people involved in the development of a product and the most significant way we do it is through rewarding influence. However, winners of development phases are also recognized on the Product History (Wisp Product History) page where users can click on a development phase to see the winning submitter.
In regards to the question about the numbers of voters, I don't have that number. Users are able to vote for a number of submissions and we keep a tally on the number of votes not necessarily the number of users.
