The votes on my inventions were vigorous for the first day or two then suddenly dropped to one every other day. All four of them were in the "most active" cataloger, but every time I went to look for them they were further down in the pile. This why I think the votes tanked, even if an avid participant spent a half hour looking through the submissions they would never be able to reach the posting lower in the pile.
Each time someone logs on the list should be shuffled so that everyone has an equal chance be near the top of the pile and to be noticed.

Hi there, wiserguy! Thanks for reaching out. There is an option to sort the submissions randomly. When members are on the Participation page we provide a number of ways to sort the ideas--these include "Newest," "Most Active," and "Random." Users can choose which ones they want to use in addition to the numerous categories and filters that are provided.
A great tool for users to use in order to avoid having to start all over again and view submissions they have already reviewed is to use our bookmark and hide features. The ways to use them are described here Bookmarking and Hiding.

Hi Chris, I Guess I'm really talking about just the "most active" catagory, which I think is a catagory that attracts the most attention. If the "random" catagory is shuffled, shuffle the "most active" catagory as well; if "random" is not shuffled, shuffle them both.
