So, I got to use Thor on three different occasions.
1. Pure Ice
2. Heavy wet Snow
3. Mixture of Ice and Snow.
I think Thor works great and is a valuable tool. I would recommend anyone to buy one. That said, here are a few enhancements I can see if you make a version 2.
1. The black cap on the end slides off too easy. This should be mounted or glued to the pole better. Especially during heavy snow, it slide off when pulling snow off the roof of my car. I would make it a better grip in general. It came off twice for me.
2. The telescoping pole needs to lock better. It takes a bit to find how it locks in. Might be cool to have a button or something to lock it in place.
2. Water Proof Case -- http://www.quirky.com/ideations/149507
3. Put marketing pictures on how you can use this in the summer as a squeegee for windows. It works great.
4. Don't know if this can really be fixed, but the handle gets in the way when scraping the top of the car if the vehicle has a roof rack.

Hey thundernumbers. Thanks for the great feedback. I'm glad that you find that it's working great and also that it also functions as a squeegee tool! I'm going to pass this information along to the team so we can keep track of this.

Did I see that someone has proposed a waterproof case for this as well? Has that been a big problem for you?

THOR does work good when I used. But, I would like a smaller version, because it was big and awkward when I used it. I gave mine to a male friend and he loves.

Thanks for the feedback Geo! Was there anything that made the movements awkward?

The handle felt too high when I tried to used it to help apply pressure to remove ice. If it was adjustable, I would have put it at an slight angle.
