updating design as you go by tagging some comments as design "mods"
one of my previous submissions had over 80 comments. many of these comments were design suggestions. it would have been helpful if i could have tagged the ones i liked and had them go directly below my product's description. there could be a little "mod" button next to each comment. you should only be allowed to "mod" comments from your own submissions. this would help a lot of users. most users aren't sure if they're supposed to update their submissions as they go or not. plus, if your submission is under consideration, you can't update it. so what happens is that a lot of users don't take the time to read all the comments, and they end up making a suggestion that another user has already suggested... which is not helpful feedback. i don't want to scan through a 100 comments just to learn about a few design modifications. its an inconvenience to all participants. if my product is under consideration, i don't want to keep reposting the same update. but if i don't repost updates, users that don't take the time to read all my comments end up giving me useless comments.

Hey Matt. Thanks for the idea. We're planning big improvements for the idea comments area this year. These will definitely include more robust user tools. Your suggestion has been noted!
