We still would like a "sent messages" folder in the DM system.
A way to link replies to the original message would be nice too.
Thanks.
(Quirky said they were adding this in August 2010...still waiting.)
We would like a "sent messages" folder in the DM system, please.

Hey Clinton. We've gotten a good amount of requests for this feature. The Tech team knows it's been on your minds for a while. Previously, it just hasn't been a top priority. This year we'll be adding a lot of user-friendly features and improving the forums. Inbox improvements will also accompany these changes. But we just don't have a timeline for it right now. Hang in there.

I love the Snufalufagus! He was always my favorite, and he hardly ever came around. I would go nuts whenever he was on!

I'd also like to see the number again at the top of the page telling me I have a message. I shouldn't have to click on my name to find out I have something in my inbox.

No doubt, stazy!
So, who is Q's customer?
Seth Godin had a great blog post about that today.
http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2012/02/who-is-your-customer.html
Q keeps implying it's the community - even saying we're not just customers, we're partners.
If so, why is prioritizing this even an issue?-
I imagine it is queued up behind some more vital fixes and additions. In most cases we use a prioritization system that breaks each task down to 5 categories: Trivial, Minor, Major, Critical, and Blocker (Blockers are problems that immediately obstruct the most important actions of community members - Inventing, Influencing, and Shopping). I'd guess that Inbox improvements are falling into the Minor-Critical range. But like I said, there are Inbox add-ons planned for the near future. Any further info that I receive will be posted here immediately.

Wonderful!
Mr Snuffy is headed for the recycle bin.
(I'm especially pleased that the sent box is retroactive - an unexpected bonus.)
Thanks Rob, Nathan & et al -
