What exactly is System Design Phase for the ear buds?
What exactly is System Design Phase is this just another concept phase? What is it they are looking for more ideas or to see what we need with a set of ear buds?

Thanks for getting in touch! The System Design Phase is a special project that is used for products that are modular, and will come with multiple components. This project is distinctly separate from the Concept Phase: a concept phase determines HOW particular features will be implemented, while a system design phase determines WHAT those features are. For example, the concept phase for the Quirky Switch pocket knife would focus on how the different components could be easily assembled and interchanged, while the system design phase would focus instead on the set tools and features that are included.
The same structure can be applied to the Modular Ear Buds project: essentially, the System Design Phase is discussing what pieces should be included with such a product, and how they should be organized. If you feel so inclined, I would definitely encourage you to submit an idea: idea submission is free in development projects, so there's no harm in giving it a shot!Comment -
